Key Features
Auto Attendant
An Auto Attendant is a recorded greeting that provides inbound callers with menu options to choose how their call is routed. The caller can be sent to specific extensions, call groups, mailboxes, etc. Multiple Auto Attendants can be created, allowing you complete flexibility in setting up how your calls are routed.
Voicemail to Email
Customers of Orbis Voice have the ability to check voicemail messages in a number of ways, even when away from their desk. We can customize your mailbox so you receive an email when a message is left. The email will include the date, time and duration of the call, caller ID if provided, the mailbox number, and an attached WAV file so you can listen to the message immediately, even if you are out of the office.
Voicemail to Text Message
If you don’t have a cell phone that is capable of playing WAV files, Orbis Voice also allows you to receive a shortened text message to your device. Third party text messaging rates may apply.
On-Demand Virtual Paths
Think of a call path as a telephone line or a phone conversation on the traditional telephone network. If 5 phones were in use at the same time, you would need 5 call paths to support these calls. Since there might not always be 5 people on the phone at once, the on-demand path feature comes into play. Maybe your business often has 4 different phones in use at the same time, but every so often, a fifth call is answered. It would be in your best interest to purchase 4 Virtual Paths and one On-Demand Virtual Path.
Custom Music On Hold
Present a professional image to your customers with a commercial loop or music on hold. You can easily upload any recordings in MP3 format through the Orbis Voice Control Panel.
Call Forwarding
Orbis Voice allows you to forward calls to any extension or phone number via the Control Panel. Device forwarding functionality may vary by manufacturer.
Time Frames
Depending on the time of day, calls can be routed a number of different ways on your PBX. For example, if your business hours are 9 AM – 5 PM, you may want calls during those hours to route to the main auto attendant, and calls from 5:01 PM - 8:59 AM to be routed to a voice mailbox. The Control Panel allows you to set these time frames.
Direct Inward Dialing (DID) Numbers
Port over your existing numbers to our service, or get new numbers for your service. DIDs are available in area codes throughout the United States.
Find-me / Follow-me
Inbound calls can be configured to try multiple locations and devices to locate a particular end user. Callers are asked to “announce themselves” and are offered the option between locations to try the next location or to leave a message.
Conference Bridge
Mulitple on-site and outside callers can simultaneously participate in password protected conference calls.
Out of Service Re-direct
In the unfortunate event that a given location suffers power or Internet connectivity failure, your Orbis Voice phone system can be programmed to automatically send calls to a backup destination without the need for manual intervention.
Orbis Voice Control Panel
End users and customer administrators can login to our secure Control Panel website to manage their Orbis Voice services and configuration including call forward settings, voicemail, end user extension assignments, music on hold, and even view call detail records and billing information.
Virtual Extensions
Extensions do not need to be associated with a physical office telephone. This is great for information only mail box announcements such as driving directions, promotional offers, and for employees who want an office presence but would prefer calls are sent to their cell phone or another location. Virtual Extensions include a mailbox, auto-attendant routing, forwarding, and DID capability for direct and outbound forwarding.
