  2. Scroll down to the 'Routing and Configuration' section
  3. Select 'Outside Number' next to the Try First: option, type in the Outside Number you wish your calls to be forwarded to (this could be a cell phone, or a home number). Be sure to include the area code (Ex: 610-XXX-XXXX).
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save'
  5. If changes have been made correctly, you will see two green check marks at the top of the resulting page

Note: When calls are transferred to you in this manner, you will always see the caller's Caller ID displayed on the phone it is connected to (cell phone, home phone, other).

Find Me

The Find Me feature in Orbis Voice takes call forwarding to a higher level. It automatically attempts to locate you by dialing a succession of numbers which you enter. The incoming caller is placed on hold until you are reached, at which time you hear a recording of the caller's name, and you can choose to accept, reject, or reject the call and record a short message for the caller to hear.

For example, you can set your cellphone to be the first location the system attempts to reach you, if you do not answer in the time frame you specify (5,10,15,20 seconds), the system will try your next location (this could be a home number or alternate business number). You have the ability to define up to 5 locations.

  1. Click on the 'Services' tab
  2. Scroll down to the 'Routing and Configuration' section
  3. Select 'Find Me' net to the Try First: option
  4. Click 'Configure Find Me settings'
  5. Under 1. select 'Outside Number' and enter the first number you would like to be reached at. Continue entering numbers in this manner and be sure to click the 'Active' checkbox if you would like that number to be used.
  6. Choose a duration of time for each location to be tried in the 'Ring each location' dropdown box
  7. You can configure additional options such as: requiring a caller's name to be recorded and announced when a call is connected to you, allowing a caller to leave a message in your voicemail box between each location that is tried, and setting the Find Me feature to only apply during certain hours. Setting a time frame can help you control when business calls are transferred to locations such as your cell phone or a home phone.

Note: When calls are transferred to you in this manner, you will always see the caller's Caller ID displayed on the phone it is connected to (cell phone, home phone, other).
